Calories burned = MET × body weight in kg × hours. For example, brisk walking (MET 5) for 30 minutes burns about 175 kcal for a 70 kg (154 lb) person.
Where the numbers come from
MET values are from the 2024 Adult Compendium of Physical Activities. A MET measures an activity's effort relative to sitting still.
Limits
It's an average; fitness, age and terrain change your actual burn. A smartwatch that measures heart rate may be closer for you.
